BBG Welcomes Newest Partner; Vivint

After a series of discussions BBG “Built By Gamers” has just locked in a deal with Vivint (NYSE: VVNT) industry leader in home automation and security.

PHOENIX, AZ, MARCH 13 — BBG has just announced its partnership with Vivint (NYSE: VVNT). The future of esports is continuing a steady rate of growth and expansion. With growing player salaries and tournament competitions, solid partnerships are highly critical to the success of any esports team. Big news for BBG and Vivint who will reap the benefits of massive viewing audiences as the BBG team faces off at a variety of competitions and eSports tournaments.

The underutilized treasure trove of advertising in eSports has contributed to an uptick in non-endemic brands forming eSports Advertising Partnerships. Tapping into this audience segment can prove highly rewarding as various eSports reports suggest that people aged 18 to 35 make up between 65 and 75 per cent of the eSports audience, with the majority of these being male. This audience has more disposable income but has been increasingly harder to reach as they are watching less tv and are more prone to use ad blocking software (nichols,2019).

The partnership could also be used as a lead funnel for working capital as sales through independent contractors drive the majority of Vivints’ new and recurring revenue.

The partnership between Built By Gamers (BBG) and Vivint (VVNT) is big step not only for the two companies but for eSports in general, as more brands are taking a jump into advertising in eSports.
